• Poly-Rhythm:   Two seperate rhythms that in no way match up, but can be played simultaneously in Real Time!  The two rhythms are *Off-Set from each other!
• What is interesting is that two written rhythms you see on paper cannot truly duplicate what you physically do on you drum(s); to apply the rhythms.  Its a natural abstraction between Human Time Sense, and Universal Time.  Its as though on paper its straight and "Square-On" movement (2-dimensional), whereas in real time its *"Curved" movement (3-dimensional)!  Consider the See-Saw, or Teeter Totter!  This experience has a lot to do with playing 3-beats against 2-beats, all in the same range of time.  What this does is trigger your imagination (4-dimensional).
